As law enforcement officers, EHOs inspect against legal requirements.
This document and the food supplement checklist have been developed by the FSAI in collaboration with the environmental health service to aid EHOs carry out official control inspections in food supplement establishments.
They should be read in conjunction with Guidance Note 21 - Food Supplements Regulations and Notifications and the Food Supplement Establishment Aide Memoire.
