We’re delighted to announce that in December 2019, Dorothy Guina-Dornan, Chief Specialist in Environmental Health, FSAI was presented with the Environmental Health Association Ireland (EHAI) Con Healy Medal in recognition of her service, dedication and expertise to the environmental health profession.
We’re delighted to announce that in December 2019, Dorothy Guina-Dornan, Chief Specialist in Environmental Health, FSAI was presented with the Environmental Health Association Ireland (EHAI) Con Healy Medal in recognition of her service, dedication and expertise to the environmental health profession.
Since graduating in 1980 she has worked as an environmental health officer (EHO), a senior EHO and a principal EHO in many facets of environmental health including atmospheric and noise control, environmental planning control, student training and professional practice, food standards/sampling, food hygiene and safety and pre-school services. She holds an M.Sc. in Health Services Management from Trinity College Dublin. Dorothy joined the FSAI in 2002 as Service Contracts Manager and in 2008, she took up the position of Chief Specialist in Environmental Health.
